hey thanks for remembering me guys,

I wish I could do your Mt. Hammy event but I am booked for those ugly BMW M Coupes again this year. (Same reason I missed last years WRX event)

ah the new camera body is a dream. My wife got it for my birthday next month. (saved taxes by getting it before Memorial Day) It is the Nikon D2X. Sweet system capable of filling a 1 gig card in a few minutes. This was my first outing before a track event at ButtonWillow this Friday - I wanted to make sure I could operate the thing (it has like 2 bizillion focus modes)

ED - I miss being at the scca events. I wanted to give the new photo crew an opportunity to get business but it looks like they haven't shot anything for a few months (and they missed Nationals at Atwater - I got almost a million hits after last years Atwater event)

If you guys are ever interested - if you haul my butt up there I will shoot you until we get tired. ( you just need to make sure I don't fall off the mountain )

Doug - Next wk's Mt. Hammy drive is a much smaller gathering....

If you can make it to the "main" Hammy meet on 7/17, that would be sweet.

That's the big one with hundreds of cars

OK I can do 7/17 - I will park my car and shoot you guys as you drive by. This year no waving! and if you see me or my car put a gap so I don't break my hip swinging to and fro as you zip past

After the lunch I will go up the hill to a good turnout for an hour or two and shoot traffic.

Cool suby in the wild??

thats my WRX and yeah it would have been cool to have been sideways thru that corner but since I just bought it 2 weeks ago, that means its not ready to be sideways since the motor and drivetrain are barely broke in.
Give it time and the next shots will be awesome soon as i get something more then a short shifter and blowoff valve installed. Going for some exhaust next springs are here just gotta get the camber bolts and install them.
