Subie Pulls to Right - Shop Recommendation Needed
Hello,
My 04 Sti keeps pulling the right. Been doing it for a while and just had an alignment completed - but the pull is still there. I know there are many reasons this can happen, but I want to get to the bottom of it. Anyone know any shops that can help with this type of diagnosis?
Thanks for your help!

Good question, set with digital air compressor 36front 32 back earlier. Pulls still though.

Where did you happen to get the alignment? My car is also pulling to the right but it is because my steering wheel is not perfectly straight. and what tire pressure do people usally do for wheels since we are sorta in the category?

I had the alignment completed at Auto Innovations. The did a great job, I am right on spec and they made it better. I dont think it is an alignment issue, but thought that was a good first step.

Could it be an uneven treadwear issue? Or perhaps the tire was warped from lack of rotation at proper interval initially? Just some ideas that popped into my head when I read your situation.

If you're sure your alignment is solid, the next thing I'd try is swapping wheels/tires with another suby and see if it makes a difference.

Custom Alignment in Mountain view is an excellent place for solving those kinds of problems. But the first thing I would do is swap the tires side-to-side,or better yet a normal rotation (LF/RR and RF/LR).

BTW. no shake on the wheel. When driving home on San Mateo Bridge at 60, it takes about 4 seconds until the pull would take me into the right lane.
Ed, if the swap does not work, is this something you can help with? Overdue for motor mounts, seems like a good reason to come in.
