I have engines come in with 250,000 ~ 350,000 miles all the time to the dealership that are owned by tight *** retired people who put whatever they damn well pleased in it and they have original radiators, water pumps AND motors!

If I am to use YOUR logic ~ I should pay more for a Subaru bike rack then a Yakima bike rack (even though Yakima makes them) because, what was it?

"Did Subaru just pull this out of their *** to make us buy it?" You be the judge. I get cost +10% on parts... I will NOT be the one born in the next minute (even at a discount...).

Snake oil my son. You can also put premium gas in your N/A for all I care. Your money.

Damn dude, didn't mean to throw sand in your vagina. I don't see how a Subaru bike rack vs a Yakima bike rack applies at all to this. I don't think Subaru states anywhere that it has a possibility of damaging the radiator and the engine... It's not MY logic, it's things that I've read and information from SUBARU.

You have more information than I do, I admit that, especially considering you work for a dealership. Sometimes, Subaru sells some good items (or is everyone who buys STi parts a dumbass?). You make it seem like Subaru makes no good parts for the car, does that mean that everyone who buys Subaru oilfilters is a dumbass? Does it mean that all factory options are a complete waste of money?

Well, if you want to put 87 in a high compression N/A application, be my guest. But according to YOUR logic, wtf do I know?

Well let's see... We don't have a high compression N/A model so you are safe. If you throw HC pistons in, don't run 87.

If someone sets down a gallon of anti-freeze at the price of a single malt, you might want to question it.

If you can buy the same part from Yakima ~ save some money.

If you need an OEM part ~ buy it.

If you want to buy a Subaru oil filter do it (unless it cost 50% more then a Fram/K&N et.al.).

Not saying Subaru is out to get you in the least... A dealer charging $25 for a gallon of anti freeze? Yeah, think so, run for the door.

PS> Ain't got no vagina... And it's not my panties that are in a bunch!

Never specifically stating what type of N/A doesn't help your cause, since you said "your" N/A and with me not having one, usually that means the general public.

Of course you look for the best price for what you're trying to find. It's just common sense, but Prestone (a brand at Kragen) sells Antifreeze for $11, and someone said that they bought some for $13? I can justify $2.

When there's no risk to the Yakima breaking any part of the car if done correctly, I still don't see how it relates to the problem. Considering Subaru states that you can damage parts of the car using a different type of coolant.

Similar to you, I don't have a vagina nor do I have my panties in a bunch.
