Strange thing happen to my subie last night.
Not sure what happened, me and the wife and daughter were driving and all of a sudden my car just powered down and went dead all I could do was brake and barely turn the wheel. So I pulled it over and popped the hood and had that "wtf" look on my face. I mean no engine check light came on , motor souned fine but anyway I restarted it and now its fine...but im going on a Mtn. drive w/ some buddies tomor. and im paranoid it might do the same thing. oh yea mods are only apex N1 catback and perrin drop in filter and Rfl rice off valve which has been on for 2yrs no probs. Any clues??
( drove for 54miles after the incident and no probs)

how could it be the battery terminals? once you start your car, you could disconnect your battery and it will keep running, because your alternator would provide the necessary electricity. Of course, unless your alternator is not good too... Correct me if I am wrong...

BTW, I can't remember that last time I got shocked from any omy Subarus or any of my customer's cars.
^ i get shocked all the time. It depends on the type of shoes I wear. If its dress shoes, then i don't get shocked. If I was in my AF1's or slippers, it will shock me.
Thread creator: your bov could cause your car to die. I use to have a TXS rfl bov and when i shifted, sometimes it will just die off. My car actually shut down on a off ramp going 50mph because of that bov. I'm running hks now and it doesn't give me any problem.
