Traditional barbers should be trained to use a straight razor. It's the major skill that separates regular cosmetologists from barbers. Call area barbers. Preferably those that are old enough to remember using one.

They're nice. Almost therapeutic. They're especially nice when you want to feel sharp for a blacktie event.

By the way, I love those guys. Great haircuts and they use the vibrator at the end...

No no no... Like old-times, the single fold out blade. I used to get my hair cut by an old fella who would actually cut head hair - not shave your head but regular hair cut - with a straight razor. Then shave, then sting like a ****. The only creepy part for me was when he would sharpen it. Yeeeesh. But yeah, it's cool and sorry - don't know a place in the Bay. As others have said, should be any good traditional barber.

i think theres a really good traditional hole-in-the-wall barber down the street from me.

yeah, when they sharpen that *****, its scary as ****...... but not as scary as when they actually start doing it. after a few seconds my first time, i was cool. kinda helped that the barber was actually one fine little honey. married, but still fine. makes everything better
