Stock Heat Shield Screw Size?
I've been driving around without a heat shield for maybe couple thousand miles and heard it could kill your turbo, so..
Time to put it back on. Anybody have any idea which size, part #, etc. fits?
Thanks again i-club,
Kevin

heard without it, your turbo cools down a lot faster than it would with one, which makes total sense. Faster temperature change is what kills metal's lifetime.
idk, don't have any evidence, just what i heard.

no, bolts are measured by the diameter of their shank, though most people simply refer to them by the socket that fits them, so yeah its a 6mm bolt that you use a 10mm socket on. as far as length the heat shield bolts are pretty damn short, I'd say about 1/2" long.
