I'm an electrician and we have a lot of accounts in the food industry in which they shut down in order for us to complete our projects and the most current is at Pyrmid Brewing company in Berkley 12+ hrs a day for 14 days staight today is my first day off but having a job is what allows me to keep buying parts for my STI and all my other toys gotta take the good with the bad

Some game companies have beds for their employees.

I'm sure animation studios are similar, anything art related has a deadline and an assembly line of people working on stuff, so you cant hold them back i guess.

and do you get overtime pay? i remember EA wouldn't pay time1/2 overtime because they weren't required to since its the "entertainment industry" or something.

Yea, I get overtime and double time. The whole EA fiasco was that they were making salaried employees work insane crazy hours and they weren't compensated for it. Because they were salary, they aren't required to compensate for ot and double time. But the pay they were getting was not proportionate to the amount of time they were made to spend at work.
