STi steering wheel install help
So I just installed a STi steering wheel on my 04 WRX. Problem is, the horn doesn’t work anymore...
When I installed it, I didn’t wire up the cruise control and simply taped off the harness instead. (The seller didn’t include the STi cruise control lever so I didn’t have the chance to install that piece). Is this the reason why my horn isn’t working anymore? Does that harness also control the horn?
I’ve searched Scooby mods and would really appreciate it if someone could direct me to a tutorial or just think of a reason why they horn isn’t not working.
EDIT:
hmm, looks like i found some useful info
http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...+wheel+install
anyways, any help or experience is still appreciated.

See if any of that applies to you.
get another CC switch or just swap over your wrx one to the sti wheel (should be the same more than likely) hook up the CC switch and the ground wire that comes off it onto the metal piece sitting on 2 springs. You will need to do this in order to have the horn working.

Ya you need the CC switch. Should be exactly the same. It's very very easy to swap over that stuff...I've done it at least 5 times taking wheels off and installing them haha. Why do you have to dremel? Did the back plastic portion of the sti not have CC to begin with? Cause you said the previous owner didn't give you the CC switch so I assume it had CC and that hole cut out....
