It's always nice to see an arrogant owner of high prices sports cars be humbled by a $30K car  It's about time people start realizing the potency of the Japanese sports cars here in America.

Don't get me wrong, if I had the money, a Rosso Corsa 360 Modena Stradale would be parked in my garage IMO, they have the sweetest sounding engine out there (as close to a F1 car sound as you can get).

I was at a trackday once at Laguna Seca back when I had my Integra Type R and there were Ferrari's, Lamborghini's, Corvettes, 911, Mustangs, even a rental Maxima, etc.

It was all fun and everyone was out having a good time, didn't matter to anyone that they were all different levels of car just car lovers.

That's what it's all about for me. Well...and what kind of car I can afford at the time. If I could afford any car I could have one helf of a selection each chosen for what it's best at.

BTW, my ITR with just a AEM cold air intake was getting raves for sound compared favorably to the 360 that was ontrack. The sound of that car a full throttle and hearing the VTEC crossover on the way to 8K was awesome, I do miss it.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. It was fun reading, but those a-holes have so much money that they say oh i'll buy an STi and just throw it into my collection. Mother F'ers

Maybe when they remove the wing they could just give it to me.

Good kill. I can see a Ferrari owner talkin trash, but at least he admitted defeat. And if you can afford a Modena, a STI is chump change. Must be nice...

Too busy polishing his $150K Ferrari with a baby diaper:

"You know, Allen, once upon a time, that comment would have bugged me.
- But how can I argue with you on that?

>but it still bugs me that a 30K 4 cylinder car can do this to a 360.

Why? Get used to it - There is a ton of street trash that could pass you so fast, you just might step out to see why your 360 had stopped!

Actually, it does bug me to no end, that the Ferrari mystique is just that. -When it comes to "go fast," that is.

I just ignore everyone that wants to race - can't stand losing....and focus on the beauty and the mystique that is Ferrari."

Reading this gilded Ferrari b.s. has made my day! Notice how almost EVERY post mentioned the price differential between the Ferrari and the STi?

I love it. They better get used to it!

Hehe nice reading to restore/maintain faith in Imprezas
Still, Ferrari's (aside from the comparatively "pedestrian" 360 Modena) do still have a real magnetism

heh, acctually all the Ferrari owners I know are pretty down to earth, and I have given a few of them a ride in the STi and everyone of them loved it! Matter of fact after the drive one of them is about to buy an STi as his daily. Thet're not all A-holes, alot of them are car guys just like us that have had all sorts of other cars in their life but have come to be able to own Ferraris, If I ever get to a point in my life where I owned a Ferrari, I would always look over my should at the suby in the other lane, they do to, Im sure more than a few of you here have had smiles and thumbs up on the freeways from Porsche/Ferrari guys before.
