Has anyone heard of or seen someone "repaint" the top piece? Looks like the top can be removed. Was thinking maybe it was like the Subaru badges that can be taken appart?

Might be plastic on that one, but I still think it should come off. Or do what I did with the center caps from the FRS rims I got.

Just cleaned them really well and stuck the vinyl on because they are perfectly smooth. Has been fine like that for a few weeks. Will see how it does once it starts raining next week.
