Sti hazzard button install

Just picked up a JDM hazzard button from SE and would like to know what is the best way to get the old one out? Any help would be nice,as I tried to pry it out with a technical screw driver but it is not working.

Just a fancy name for a really small screw driver commonly used for various electrical terminations.

you can make up for it by taking out that KTM 380 to Hollister sometime! Do you ride dirt a lot? or just a side hobby? that thing must be fasssssstt!

Thumbs up

I haven't ridden it in a while, it was down for a very long time due to a bad kickstart shaft and it was back ordered from KTM so you know how that goes. But I have ridden holister more times than I can count but I sill love that place. When I get my new green sticky I will hit you up to try and set up a ride.

And as for that thing being fast lets just say I rode it out to the main road at clear creek and paced my buddy in is tahoe on it and when he hit fuel cut off I kept on pullin, open class power plus wide ratio six speed equals good times.

damn! My XCW is geared low for trials, so i can crawl it, and go about 60 lol. Im sure i could hit 100 geared right.

So you havent ridden the new trails at Hollister? they are amazing! like mtnbike singletrack, 2 hours worth of riding

So it turns out it was a very easy install after pulling my head out of my *** and seeing the obvious.

1.pop out the clock housing

2.push the button assy forward towards seats

3.Button will pop out still connected to the harness

4.Disconnect old button and plug in new one, push assy back into place

5.Snap clock housing back into place and that is it.total time 5min max
