Hello Bay Area
Hey guys,
as I threw in the newbie section, just purchased a black 2006 sti so i just joined the club. Subarus really are awesome cars. Really fun to drive.
I'd like to get a snowboard rack, mudflaps, and probably upgrade the sound.
If anyone has any strong recommendations, please throw me a pm or something . let me know...
I am more concerned about audio fidelity than massive bass...
headunit wise - people seem to be telling me to get the pioneer z3. any thoughts on head units is appreciated too. Dont really know too much about car luxuries... heater and ac... ridiculous.

sick. yea i try to go up to tahoe every weekend that i can when theres enough snow... hopefully this will be a good season b/c two seasons ago was ridiculously bad...
Will be awesome to finally be able to take a car up there and not have to deal with tire chains.
The more i drive my car the more i drive my car the more i am impressed by how it handles. I think the engine is more than enough for me, but i wonder if anything can be done to make the suspension much better without sacrificing too much ride comfort.
I come from the motorcycle world where suspension is what matters the most. I hope to take this car to the track someday... I feel like it belongs there...
This subaru has impressed me to no end. Need better sound (fidelity - louder and bassier is not better).
Two additional issues that i need advice for:
1. my headlights have some cloudy crap on it. how do i get rid of it? this really bugs me a lot for some reason
2. paint chips and scratches stuff - any advice on how to deal with it? does anyone do pretty good touch-up /detailing around these forums? anyone recommmend the clearbra/3m stuff?

After trying a few products, Meguiars finally took my headlights from grimy to shiny and new.
As for the detailing, DetailAddict is the man around here, have yet to get em up to my area but have heard great things about his work.
Hope that helps.
