HaHaHa!!! Man I was in that thread sooo long ago. It was giving me a headache so I stopped reading it.
Please I am begging you go anywhere but Steven's Creek. You will be much happier in the long run and won't won't save anything by giong to them. Believe me, just turn away and head to Santa Cruz or Redwood City. Heck go to Sacramento if you have to but just don't go there.

If a person is stupid enough to go to a place where he/she knows has a lot of negative reviews on it, I would just tell him what Forest Gump's mom says... Anyway it's their money.

dude, just do a search on Iclub for "stevens creek subaru" and show your friend how many NEGATIVE threads there are in the results about SCS.....that should be enough to change their mind......tell them to go to Carlsen in Redwood City, or Santa Cruz Suby.......hands down....dont go anywhere else.....dont even think about going to SCS, unless you enjoy being treated like crap.....lied to, harrassed and ripped off.....the ONLY reason I ever go to SCS is to buy those little oil drain plug washers (because they are the closest to my house, and I'm not about to drive 30 minutes to buy a $3 part)

^^^ drain plug washers / crush washers are 50 cents to a dollar else where. 3 bucks for a washer = rape.

yup this is all anyone needs to read. deanh8 just a tip if you are legit: if you actually dont work for stevens creek, this is not the way to get i-club love.

speaking of stevens creek, are all their dealers pwned by the same peeps? my pops just bought a new bmw and said the stevens creek bmw sales team had the same bad attitude as the subaru dealer. this is independent of me telling him to avoid stevens creek like the plague. another friend went to an audi dealer and said the same thing. teh sux.

I know we're not the least expensive place for those, but we only charge 1.57 retail...

BTW, Fumoto valve ONCE, and never have to buy those crush washers again. $24.95 (carry them in stock)...

I think those drain valves are a great idea, until you cross paths with someone that really doesn't like you, or middle school kids that have nothing better to do, and one twist of the valve and your oil is gone. I'm sure this doesn't happen to everybody, but it sure ups the chances of it happening.

I don't think that's very likely to happen, it's a bit tough to look under a car when it's not jacked or on ramps and then reach to the drain plug and flip it open.

You're not paranoid or anything, right?

1. If they're under your car looking to cause trouble, chances are they already have a crescent wrench to remove your oil pan bolt. Either that, or they'd have a pair of wire cutters to wreak havoc on your wiring harness (better/cleaner/more expensive for victim idea)...

2. If they're under there, that's when they discover you have this Fumoto valve. If they're that intent on stirring up trouble, then you're screwed anyway.

3. I'm careful enough with my vehicle that if I see a puddle of fluid underneath it, or leading away from it, I determine what that fluid is and if it's from my car BEFORE moving it/turning on the engine.

Just some observations. BTW, if they're that intent on doing something to your car, they're going to go on the internet and learn how to make some REAL mischief...

I don't know how he'd be accused of an act of terrorism...but..

My point exactly. I'm not paranoid, I'm only speaking from past experience as a prankster kid myself. :/ Isht happens...and if you make it easier for it to happen, or if you "tempt" the kids, it will happen.

because they said she could have caused a wreak, killed herself/others.

the incident caused everyone to freak out and had the cops all worked up trying to find out who did it, and why.

a simple prank got quite serious QUICK

/back to stevens creek sucks
