I've had an '02 WRX, and now I have an '04 STi.
I've felt the brakes on a WRX with the MRT m/c brace, and it feels more solid.

Yes... I have SS lines... and I used to have BOZZ Speed circuit pads, which were like the most insane pads in the history of time.
They do make your brake pedal feel a little more soild, but its not nearly as solid as it should feel. Everytime I drive someone elses car, I get back into mine, and my friggin brake pedal feels like it goes to the floor! (I have STi 4 pots with SS lines and bleed them with Motul... )

I don't know how much the MRT brace reduces this flex - I don't have one. I think a neat product would be a brace that attaches to the front strut tower brace so that less drilling would be required. It should be boxed or gusseted so that the master cylinder brace itself won't flex since the strut tower bar is mounted higher.

Oops, I went OT.
I have a front set of Stoptech stainless lines. I have to re-bleed my brakes before I can give you my real impression.
