Why would I need more than one? Having been a WT back in my navy days I can tell you now one Mark 12 20 megaton nominal yield warhead would do the job nicely.

Hmm. What sort of Mark 12? The original Mark 12 air drop bomb had a yield of 12-14 kilotons. Now if by Mark 12 you mean a W-62 or W-78 RV as part of a MIRV package on the end of a Minuteman you're still an order of magnitude short of 20Mt.

Now having said the 170 Kt yield of the W-62 would do, even better the ~345 of the W-78. So yeah, I think you have me there anyway...
