hey guys one of my sheriff buddys told me that state ref is no longer existing. i guess the state didnt have enough money to keep runing it. can anyone else back this up?

 

Pursuant to the Governor's Executive Order S-13-09, beginning in August 2009, all BAR offices
will be closed the first, second, and third Friday of each month until July 1, 2010.

 

that's just the furloughs.

Speaking of furloughs, DMV is going to go on strike!

 

BAR runs the Referee offices, if they were going to be shutdown again (as happened last summer) , the announcement would be on the BAR site as "persuant to the Governors budget".
So the guy with the info about the closures may be speaking prematurely at the least, misinterpreting the furloughs as closure at the most.

 

Funny you mention that, I had a customer come in today saying the state was cutting their employees pay tremendously. Something like a 15percent cut, apparently union reps have been all over the dmv's pushing for employee strike
