State colleges
State colleges
Shoooooot, last min college time. anyways guys i need some help between the next ...day or so. what do you guys know about San Jose state and Sacromento state? how do they compare? campus? what kind of school is it known for(medica, tech, farming, etc). party school or some smart kid place? are they one of the top ranked state schools?
-thanks
-thanks
I personally like San Jose better. I looked at both schools and SJSU had a much nicer campus IMO. I personally hated the city of San Jose beforehand (I hate any big city, the traffic, the *******s that normally inhabit big city, etc.) but San Jose has won me over. I think Sac state is more of a party school since that is all there is to do there, but San Jose on thursday nights is poppin due to all the students. I would assume a majority of SJSU students are Business Majors (althought I am an english major), while most people that I know who went to Sac were Bio/chem/ and other science related majors. Go check both since they are within driving distance and decide that way.

NO WAY!! Another I-Club English Major at SJSU?!?!?
I go to SJSU and am also an English Major. My GF is a Markteing Major and she likes it alot. we also have a good engineering department. I like SJSU alot, the campus is nice and in the heart of downtown. There is alot to do on and around campus. Lots of good places to eat. Many people will tell you that you wont get the real college experiance at SJSU but that is not true. If you take the time to make friends and join campus organizations you will have a great experience.
BTW: The best club on campus is the English Society, hehe

not creative writing, the department calls it career writing. Basically its editing and tech writing. you should come by the English Society Lounge, FO 113. meet more english majors and faculty. we do a bunch of different activities. we edit one anothers work and stuff like that. there is always someone in there
