The Car Lover's Engine Repair Set

This is the front half of a car that lets aspiring mechanics pop the hood, change the oil, and tinker with the engine. With a removable cowling, spark plugs, wing nuts, and other lifelike car components, children can practice testing the brakes, changing the air filter, and using the dipstick to check the oil levels.

Forget kids, I'm fairly certain some of my adult friends could benefit from this.

As much as I like this and think it's a great idea for my son, the reviews on Amazon are giving me pause.

HAMMACHER!!!

SCHLEMMER!!!!

Pretty much what popped into my mind here.

Too bad this sounds like a pile of trash, but on the plus-side, I have a Justy which is nearly the same thing.

Just buy an old bog standard compact car or something from a junkyard...that's going to be just as cheap and start them from there

My sons actually has this thing. We bought it for him a year or so ago. He loves the thing. Pulls it all apart and puts it all back together more then i can count. Only thing is the spark plugs and bolts are perfect choke hazards if your kid likes to put toys into their mouth.

Lately hes been into his jeep & the creeper, lol.

Thanks for the first hand "review". It looks like it'd be right up my 2yo son's alley.

Yeah that sounds a lot better than the Amazon reviews. I would get one as my 3yr old daughter would love it, but my 1yr old son and my 2yr old dog together would probably eat most of the parts before too long.
