Stage Colder Spark Plugs?

I created this thread out of the curiousity of what the wider i-club population thinks, as I have received about an equal balance of my friends telling me I should keep it at stock coldness and telling me to go a stage colder (Either way I will be installing new plugs very shortly.

My setup is Uppipe, turboback, Perrin IC hoses (for power) and I will be getting tuned very shortly.

With the higher boost I will be running off of a tune with these mods, will I need stage colder plugs? Or are stage colder plugs only necessary for bigger turbo applications?

Thanks for any suggestions and opinions,
-Brian

i heard something to the tune of, one step colder for every 75 extra HP gained. There are tons of posts about this on NASIOC

Thanks for the response Akira, I tried the search again on Nasioc and this time typed it in as sparkplugs rather than spark plugs, and the correct information came up.

Easy rules:
More boost/HP than stock on a turbo'ed car - one step colder. (14.7 upped to 17psi and/or full 3inch catless turbo back)
50% or more boost, and/or 40% or more HP - 2 steps colder. (huge turbo, full catless turboback, 28 psi)

In short,
modified, colder
mega mod'ed, even colder

Unsure? - A step colder plug isn't likely to hurt more than it helps.
