btw, i've been using the RE92's for 4 snow seasons now. I actually like them a lot.

was fine for me and not to bad for my buddy with his nearly at the bars Pzero Nero's???

The tires stink. It's just a graphic because for a while there people where constantly blaming the tires for their wrecks instead of themselves.

In your case it was probably a bit of both.

A good way to look at this sort of thing objectively is this: If someone slid out and crashed or spun out, whatever, they were driving too fast for the conditions. Conditions being, slippery road, bad or "not good enough" tires, whatever. One should always drive taking conditions into account, regardless of the make/model of the products in question.

I myself had a great time on Mt. Hamilton Rd. on RE-92's yesterday but this was in my Justy. New struts + new alignment + Justy + Mt. Hamilton rd = WEEEEE! That was so damn fun..... I was laughing so hard I was in tears.

Oh no...this one was definitely me. I was going too fast on bald tires. But yeah, I USUALLY know the limitations of the RE92's and drive accordingly. I had a brain fart this time...I'm just glad it wasn't worse since I had my family with me.

I have agree with this. I'm going to bust you up a little bit. I have some P-Zero's that have no tread left on them. As a matter of fact I ordered a new set on Sat. Because mine are so bad. No wipe out for me yesterday. Although there was some nice sideways parking lot action.

My fiancee and I almost got killed by some [insert insult here] in a black prelude yesterday on our lil Hammy drive. When you turn right on Mt. Hamilton off of Alum Rock, that first tight left hander - this black prelude comes sailing out from the turn across our lane and nearly into the gaurdrail but he saved it at the last minute, then sped by nearly clipping us again. If we would have been 20 feet more along that road, we both would have died yesterday no two ways about it.

It was nice and dry up Mt. Hamilton though, and to be honest out of all the times I have driven that road in all the cars, the Justy on RE-92's was hands down the most fun. When your car weighs 12lbs and your wheelbase is 3 feet, anything is possible!!! Where my teeth would get knocked out in the Celica or I thought I was gonna fall off the cliff and die in my WRX, the Justy just tore across it. Wicked fun. Can barely hold 75mph on the freeway, but WOW. Right tool for the job I guess...
