Im paying less with Vz a month (700 min, unlim txt/pic, unlim data) than sprints unlim plan. Given i dont have unlimited mins, i could care less as I only use 200 or less a month
My wife had sprinit for over 10 years and within the last couple years, their prices have gone up and service/quality has gone down. She left and joined Big Red.

I hate arguing on the internet, but dude what the hell is your problem? My phone literally doesn't work, I think I have a right to ask if there's anything I should know about that's causing service to disappear.
And btw my phone is brand new so I know it's not a hardware issue.

And just because your phone is new, doesnt mean it doesnt have any hardware issues.

Truth.
My wife and I both have unlimited everything plans with 4G extra and combined it was cheaper than our old ATT and VZ at the time. I think its around 150-160 for both plans together.
I just dont get how we live in the most technologically advanced areas and have some of the worst cell coverage. I know VZ is better but not great.

Anyone with Sprint notice that the phone service, 3G and 4G is total crap recently? Seriously, I pay $100 a month for this phone and can barely use it. It seems to be only within the last month or so that this has started happening.
Anyone else sharing this experience? What is going on?!

2) Which phone do you have, Is it stock?
3) Do you travel a lot? When was the last time you updated your roaming profiles?
4) What are your roaming settings currently? Sprint only or okay with popping other towers?
I noticed better service after my last upgrade, from an HTC Evo 4G to a Motorola Photon 4G. In places where I couldn't pickup/hold 4G with the Evo, I have an easier time of it with the Photon.

I've got the EVO 4g and this phone has not failed me at all. I get service almost everywhere, internet is really good and the unlimited plan is I have is cheap. I'm more happy with Sprint that with verizons crappy customer service nd over priced cell service.

2. Nexus S, just replaced by Sprint with a refurbished unit last week. I've downloaded 2 games, Waze and Facebook. That's it.
3. No
4. Roaming: not set to connect to data services when roaming
I never use 4G because it kills the battery too fast.
