Saw a police chase today between castroville and Salinas. First though.... I'm gonna cut that fool off. Second though... dudes got no front bumper and no tires... don't think he's stopping. Third though... f this he might shoot me.

Pulled aside and watched the dude drive by flinging tire at my car.

Who was in the sti behind me?

The trick is to lie to their face in such a way they can't do anything about it. Now, if it is a FEDERAL officer...do not lie, that is a federal felony offence, not something you want to get mixed up in.
If you are accused of a violation and thus are pulled over and "detained" you have to tell them your name. If a police officer just does a stop and frisk then you do not have to tell them your name. I would never recommend lying about your name if you are just talking to a police officer. That's just stupid, why would you lie about your name if you didn't do anything wrong? That's just going to make the officer suspicious that you are hiding something such as warrants.

In the case of him talking on the side of the freeway with the chp officer, if the officer asks for his name he would have to tell him because technically he is "detained" because he is breaking the law by being stopped on the side of the freeway in a non-emergency.

And yes you are right about lying to a federal officer/agent. Since 1998, if you make even the smallest lie it is a felony federal offense punishable by up to 5 years in federal custody.

I have lived in CA for my whole life, and trust me, I am out of this ****ing libtard state as soon as possible. My partner has 2 more years to his degree, then we have already decided we are moving up to WA. Its not Texas, but its a hell of a lot more conservative than this stupid state has become.

On my commute some idiot in the lane over from me changed lanes away from me without checking his blind spot and almost hit another dude... who honked at the bad driver... and then the bad driver drifted back into place and began to drift over in to my lane... and I had to honk him lest he cause an accident.

I guess that's what you call honk-pong?

Update: the other night around midnight in the rain I was in the fast lane on southbound 17 back to santa cruz and I had someone in a white car on my *** after the summit where it starts to downgrade the other side of the mountain. I was going very slow for my wrx cause I know roads are slick.....the ******* behind me gets right on my *** and flashes me to get over even tho there is nowhere to go since I was parallel with a driver in the slowlane at the moment.

Before you know it I dont see the lights anymore thinking he changed lanes......

Then I see them again....and dissapear again.

I guess the ******* spun out like 3 times and then hit the wall on the mountain side.

Serves you right for tailgating *******.

Hope you had fun standing in the rain waiting for the tow truck!!!!

Ha got his. But if he wanted to go faster (even if above his talent) I usually let them pass ASAP, and if I can't immediately I signal that I'm going to.

I hate when you signal to get into the next lane over, the car in that lane who was driving at a constant speed, and had ample space, suddenly has the need to speed up and not let you get into that lane...... Like really?

I LOL when they do that and I am in one of my trucks, then I just continue to change lanes. You would be surprised how fast someone will dive out of the way when they realize you don't give a **** and are coming over anyways. Then again if I am in the 4runner, well that looks like a bashed up rock crawler, and if I am in the 3500...who in their right mind gets in the way of a 1 ton dully, on semi truck tires, changing lanes LOL.

I forgot about that chat. Nothing screams "I am taking this lane, stop acting stupid in your car." better than a raisin with tube armor.

Had to play that card two nights ago in the Ram. Ended up being so pissed at the lady I just stopped a few feet further back from where she stopped deliberately blocking me and another couple of trucks from getting into the right turn lane, reached over and switched into 4-Hi, tapped the horn, she moved 3" and I just go wheeling past in the muddy offramp sides.

Stupid gal made me have to clean my truck.

*People want to get hit and get hurt/paralyzed/die. How else are they gonna make ends meet and save money? (Seriously, I honestly think that's the reason.) Now as far as things getting worse out here, oh yeah. Leo and I used to gripe about it all the time. So much has changed as far as overall population, mindsets, etc. that the more I think about it I realize we're more and more like Los Angeles now.

Dude you need to toss a smittybult M1 bumper on that thing, then come over and we can go pick up some steel and fab up some stupidly beefy rock bars. Then no one will get in the trucks way.

my commute home last night.

******* in a mustang who was driving like he was drunk last night over 17. Wouldnt even pass me when I get over into the slow lane. Then he tries to cut me off in a construction zone.
I should have just laid on the brakes and held on.....next time young pony....next time.....

I would have but there was a guy keeping speed in the slow lane. And I was going plenty fast enough for driving in the rain.

If I was behind him I would have probably been involved. He spun out into both lanes with traffic moving pretty good behind him in the rain. Even braking in the dry is tough going downhill on 17 if there is an emergency in front of you....
I would have smacked right into him.

I always like to be in the front so when someone eats it they dont take me out too lol.
