i've heard it was really fun. My sisters bf went there a few months ago and liked it. I've only been to lemans in fremont since i am not 18 yet, it's alright but way overpriced for the track time and size of the track.

i've never heard of LeMan's kart racing, where is that in Fremont? do they run real karts, or those lowered ride on lawn mowers that Malibu uses? i've been meaning to take my little sister to a real kart racing place, but she isn't 18 quite yet.

lemans' karts seem a bit faster than speedring...... just a tad though... pricing is competitive, not too sure though have been to either in a while... either way you'll have fun for sure

First off, Lemans and Speed Ring are owned by the same people . Pricing is comensurate with the track, equipment, and locale.
Second, DCKK did a meet at Speed Ring a while back. If you do a search (maybe 2.5-3 months back) for the DCKK karting meet, you'll find the info. We had a BLAST! It's loads of fun, though you pay for it. We had enough fun that we're doing it again. The setup is very good, the track is good, the staff is good. Equipment is not bad for rental, and the karts are the "real" type, not those silly Malibu ones. Rental includes racing suit, gloves, helmet, and a kart. You have to go through a mandatory safety briefing video before hitting the track. If you go on "reverse" nights, when they run the track backwards, the track runs quite a bit faster, from what the staff there tells me. It's a good place, and the DCKK crew definitely are planning to go back.
Third, subydude goes to Lemans quite often, so you might want to ask him what he thinks of the place.
hope this helps.
