My self and two other UCD students are collecting pledges for Hands on Sacramento. We are participating in the annual Hands on Sacramento Day, it is a fund raiser and day of community service to provide funds for "Hands on Sacramento" http://www.handsonsacto.org/Special/...OS_Day2003.htm . Hands on Sacramento coordinates year round volunteer activities, almost on a daily basis to many different community projects http://www.handsonsacto.org/p_blurbs.htm . This is an acutal and very worthy cause (unlike the my "friend" lost her job threads last x-mas) donations are tax deductible, I can find out more info on that if you want.
