so i was driving to my apartment in san jose and i'm on 880... i'm fallowing this audi a8? (some kinda audi wagon..) doing like 55 on the 2nd to the left lane, so i move over to the far left lane and so does he, he speeds up then slow back down to the same speed as we were going on the other lane, so i move back to the 2nd to left lane than i hear him downshift and rev off. and then i'm like... "err thats a dick move" so i'm driving the 2nd to left lane and cars are starting to moving slowly once more; thus i get over to the fast lane and do 70 and at the same time i get behind that audi and change lane and pass him. THEN! the guy pulls behind me and starts to tails my ***. i say to myself, "whats is up with this dude?" then i was like... no more games *******... so i hit my brakes for a sec and then he hella slams on his brake and exits.... after that i felt a hint of victory... =D

 

Spanking him would have been a victory IMO...but what you gave him was payback.......I'm glad he didn't rear end you...

 

i don't kno... i felt that i spooked him to get off my ***....kinda like standing up to someone who is trying to punk you and there was no spanking, i wasn't raceing him or anything...

I was on my way to work and the whole time I was on the 2 lane (1 each way) highway there was a ferrari behind me (Not sure what kind...but a newer one) and we were just cruising along with traffic. when we got to the section where it opens up to two lanes each direction, we both moved over to the left to get onto highway 1. at this spot, some people that are in a "rush" tend to using the right lane as a passing lane. theres a mercedes SUV a little bit infront of me, and then this GENIUS in a corvette comes flying by like he was trying to prove soemthing to a FERRARI driver. He then ran out of room and was stuck behind the mercedes SUV. Please people, dont try to prove anything to ferraris

 

Haha, I'd try something if I had an Aston Martin...but this is like 5+ years from now. hopefully...and not any longer...haha But ferraris are fast. But then again, those new Vett's are fast too...

what ferrari was that? I'm bad at remembering their models. The one behind me was a 575 Maranello (515 hp...too lazy to convert the torque numbers from the ferrari site)

Brake checking people can get you shot or killed. I wouldn't do that.

Some clown was stupid enough to brake-check my buddies F350 diesel club cab!!! If my buddy hadn't swerved the impact would have straight-up killed the guy.

Can you imagine if the asshat hit you and sent you into another car, killing or badly injuring someone? Think man.

 

I dont know about RU-X, but when I brake check people I usually tap the brakes hard, but quick, and then step on the gas. If they are already too close I'mm move up a little and then do it. But yes, its not the best thing to do, but if you cant move out of the way, I like to get people off my *** in a semi-controlled environment like that instead of when I do have to slam on the breaks.

 

there was a chick tailgateing me one time and i brake checked her 10 times she kept on getting up in my *** i got so pissed i got in the carpool lane so she could get next to me so i could give her a piece of my mind and she was on the fu**in cell phone and she never even looked over at me even when i moved in to her lane. Cellphones + driving = accident specially if the driver is ignorant like her
