That sounds completely wrong. Like others have said, bad driver

It'd be far easier to crash a RWD car.

Some BRZ's have been sitting on lots for more than 100 days, so you can get them for cheaper. You just need to know where to look. There's also that Colorado Subaru dealership that has sold all of their cars for under MSRP, even when other dealerships were asking ridiculous prices.

Oh yeah.... it is totally the driver. That's why I bought the BRZ. Less power and lesser chance of me wanting to drive like a d-bag.

There are people out there who aren't enthusiasts. To them... it is just a car.

Power has nothing to do with driving like a d-bag. You don't need power for that.

True, however you're more likely to find an frs owner who's clueless about cars. I know it's the same car as the brz, but I'd NEVER buy a car with a scion badge on it. Don't know why, that's just how I feel. Up here it's glaringly obvious that people don't know or car about the subaru heritage, and jump at the chance to own an frs for a few grand less.
No waves, no enthusiasm.

I had a bad experience with Toyota... so... I didn't go that route. I bought the BRZ over the FRS because of resale value and the features in the BRZ (HID and navigation) justified the price difference.

It's really all about how you deal with it. I personally feel it's not a black and white situation. Sure you could be a total moron that will get 450hp and just go crash it immediately because you have zero self preservation, but I would argue that guy would probably do that in any car. I also see where you have a car that is 450hp, you know what you are doing and what you are dealing with. The immense torque and power actually CAUSES YOU to drive SLOWER on the street. Same with the huge grip. That same person may drive a slower car much harder and closer to the limit on the street which is probably just as unsafe as the 450hp.

I'd say I drive faster in the BRZ and closer to the limit on the street than med turbo Sti.

I think really it can be dangerous to drive fast on the street but how much more dangerous than heavy traffic, I don't know. I was just trying to make the point the car isn't really as big of a deal as the choices the driver makes.
