Angry Son Of A *****!!!!!!!!!

Royce Gracie lost to Matt Hughes 4:12 into the first round. Matt's ground and pound technique was way too much for the Hall Of Famer....

although Royce held out through a nasty looking armbar that had Royce's arm bending backwards and appearing broke. He is the calmest guy you have ever seen when he's on his back in a fight.

New UFC MMA record, 11-1. not bad for a 39-year old whos been retired for 11 years from the octagon. and i dont even like UFC.......

looked like he was treating it like it didnt have 3 5 min rounds... Not sure if he was trying to prove how tough he was by just taking that **** like it was nothing or if he was trying to wait dude out..

Either way you have to be imrpessed at the way he conducted himself..

he didnt really show any emotion going into the fight or during the fight, but he's always been like that. kinda cool to see Elio Gracie at the fight....

Gracie was and always will be a favorite, but I guess it's time to step aside and let another young champ rise.....I wish I didn't have to work or else I would have watched the fight. All-n-all was it worth the money to watch?

umm. royce is just 11-1 in ufc. he got his *** beat in pride i think.

Yeah brasillian Ju is good, and it was good near the start of UFC when nobody had real MMA experience. Or when they had their own fighting style. Thats how it was back then. Now, knowing just Ju doesnt cut it.

Like i predicted, Hughs wins. You cant choke a man with no neck

True that, Ju Jitsu doesnt cut it alone anymore. Every one else is to well rounded.

I dont know. I don't have much respect for the gracie family. They totally stole Japanese Jujitsu and renamed it brazialian without giving any of the japanese proper credit at all. Theres hardly any difference and in teh UFC when gracie was fighting, they put him up against lower ranked fighters so he'd always win. He definately didn't go up against the best and therse so much gracie family propaganda going around trying to hype their family.

As a whole I don't really like UFC, pride on the other hand ism uch more entertaining.
