You guys truely are amazing... I know some of you don't even know who I am personally but you still take the time to send your regards and prayers for my friend and his family. This thread has made me feel a lot better, I know it sounds weird but having support always helps.

It's hard as hell to talk about in person with people so talking about it online is usually much easier for me. Thank you all for your kind words and for taking the time to say something... It really means a lot to me and I'm going to print this out to show his mother how much support he really had, even from perfect strangers. Everything you guys say in this thread will be given to Aaron's mom, I think she'll really appreciate the kind words that you guys have expressed.

Thank you everyone... Thank you.

I am sorry for your loss, and thou it means little, please pass on my condolences to the fallen solders family. As ex-navy, every time I hear a story like this it rips my heart out. I wish I had more words that could help you my friend.

To everyone else on i-club, and I mean this with all my heart. If any of you feel down, feel like things need to end. CALL ME, I don't care what time it is, or where, get my number from Pho or one of the other guys and call. I will come over, we can sit, drink beer, and talk it out.

PTSD sucks.
About the only way to relieve the" pain" it causes is to talk about your experiences.
I have yet to meet a civilian that "gets it", "understands" why I'm ****ed up, or can even stomach the stories of certain events.

Dan, I can't even begin to imagine what you or your friend's family is going, but I am very sorry that you had to experience your friend's demise.

I had one of my best friends in HS go home after hanging out with me all day, unlock his dads gun, and blow his brains across the wall. I have never forgiven myself for not seeing the signs, and have always sworn I would help anyone and everyone as best I can from that day on.

Its why I know how Dan is feeling, and why I my heart goes out to him.
