ahh **** that!

yeah if its down past the base coat its not gonna buff out, I used to work with an awesome detailer that could lay paint down into scratches and pits then level them out so you could hardly see it, he moved to LA though

It can be done tho, call Leo at Detail Addict, good luck

That sucks dude im really sorry to hear that happened, you could try going to your local dealer and getting a paint pen and penning in some paint and then buffing. Realistically tho, as far as i know, if it got keyed all the way down to metal the only way to get it back to looking new would be a full trunk respray. You could try taking it to the dealership and claiming a manufacturer defect lol

The only way to keep the car looking go is key the rest and get the whole car repainted so it matches right

First, theres nothing to "buff" out Paul because what ever is there, has already been "taken out" ie, the key to the paint.

The best way to get it repaired is to paint the whole trunk, if you need a hookup I have one in SJ just let me know.

Also I might be able to help you with some touch up and polish if you would rather do that, Im not sure how **** you are about paint lol. What color is your car and what is the color code? If you want my help, pm me for further info.
