Someone educate me. . . turbo school 101

What affects will happen when you port and polish a turbo. I assume smoother flow! Does this result in quicker spool-up or horsepower gains, etc? Say it was a VF39, or VF34.

Faster spool up for port and polish, but not necessarily power gains. You should read up on it, there are many threads in here for that topic.

Not much. Why don't you just call a shop and ask? I'm sure LIC could give you an hour lecture on it if you were really interested.
