Some People Are Unbelieveable!

So I was driving my mom to work yesterday. We were on the San Mateo Bridge and there was some minor traffic.

This guy on a crotch rocket (Don't know what kind) was tailgating behind the car next to us. He looked furious. Kept on honking at the car (can't do anything cause there's traffic.) The driver told the guy on the bike to just go around him. The guy on the bike did. But before passing him, the guy on the bike grabbed the driver's passenger side mirror (cars were moving that slow), then kept banging on his window and door.

I wanted to do something but I was on the opposite side.

You should have made him the meat in a car sandwich. =D

But yeah, there are alot of dumb ***, no common sense riders out there who thinks anyone in a cage doesn't deserve to share the road with them.

wow, that guy on the bike is lucky. It must have been really tempting for the guy in the car to just give a quick yank on the steering wheel. Down goes biker...

Some people just shouldn't be allowed to drive/ride.

The driver probably cut him off earlier. It's been done to me before. Interesting thing is that the driver never realized what he just did. Take care on those bikes.

Might be right. I'd always had to be very aware of my surroundings when I was riding, having to watch out for those drivers who were oblivious to everything around them. I've seen my share of accidents where cars took out bikes for the simple fact of not seeing them.

Then again I could be completely wrong and the rider could've been a total dick, but most likely the rider pribably felt his life was in danger prior to the road rage incident.

It sounds like the tail-end of something that happened earlier. Its hard to see how anyone can get that mad just by sitting behind a car. You never know though, there are a lot of idiots out there.

The car probably just cut off the biker, maybe as he was accelerating around someone else or just turned in front of him or maybe at the merge lane....Cars just don't see bikers, that's why I quit driving a motorcycle - Once almost driven into a bridge abutment by a cadillac and the second time I laid it down under an RV who didn't see me while he was making a left hand turn on an empty road...both in broad daylight!

Yea, it happens a lot. Driver probably cut off the biker or nearly side swiped him earlier. Trust me, most riders are pretty damn alert of the road. The unbelievable driver/rider was probably the driver. Imagine you in your car getting sideswiped by a big rig, and you barely dodged it. It's kinda like that on a bike vs cars.
