I don't know how I feel about them going to a 2.0L yet. I'm sure some tuners are pissed off though.

true. but an American version 2.0 vs a Japanese version 2.0 is a huge difference.

I have a feeling the people that buy sti's also are mad that you pay 10grand more for the same power and a slower car... its 270hp so thats fun haha

I thought they were going to go from the EJs to the FBs... this is saying they are going to the FA20... so did they just switch up the name, or is it another new motor?

I always thought it was going from the EJs to the FBs. If Subaru is going to use the FA, then that's even better; the FBs are all undersquare engines, and the FA is a square engine.

I like the idea of 30mpg highway though thats nice. When I had the ej255 in my RS i averaged like 25 on the highway if I remember correctly

it was my understanding that the only reason they made 2.5l's in the U.S. is to make up for our crappy gas

U.s 2.0 doesnt produce good trq or power (not like an STi )....Japan's 2.0 bueno! But here in AMERICA 2.5 rules enuff said..
