3 hours from San Jose

 

Yeah, thats not too bad...I should be able to correct for the blue-ish cast from the florecents.

So what time works for everyone? How about meet in the afternoon and stick around until the sun goes down, that way we can get some daylight shots, while the sun is going down when the light is golden, and then some night shots as well. What time is the sun setting these days? 6:30ish-7:00?


I think thats a big too far, unfortunately.

 

I cant out there till 7:45ish cuz of work but i'm sure many people could make it out there earlier.

People usually show up between 8 and 8:30 on a regular basis.

 

uckk would be a good place to take some pics. i was also considering cal state hayward. theres a spot up there where we can have the whole bay as our background.

yeah Cal State Hayward is a good spot on the weekend for photoshoot, or the San Leandro marina, I think thats a pretty nice spot also.

 

Im liking both the ideas of Cal St. Hayward and the marina. Is there enough parking at the marina for all of us? How close are they to UCKK? Could we potentially meet at UCKK and then caravan over to one of these, my first choice being the marina?

 

you can shoot my car and the other shop cars at Bozz in Union City. The 20th is a Friday...hmmm, maybe just my car...lol I'm in San Jose.. pm me if my car will work ..hehe

 

Wow, a clean Honda What motor do u have in there? B series? Sure, if you cant make it to the shoot on Sunday, maybe we can work somethin out for the week afterward. Id love to swing by Bozz sometime!

union landing has some nice areas when the parking lots are empty.. for example, by borders:




there's also a spot off of decoto that i go to on weekends for some shoots of my own.. but you can only do 1 car at a time for the right effect:

Sooooo, this is what you've been up to the past few month. We (or maybe just i) have been wondering how things have been going. Summers here and i'm ready for the BBQ party/meet over at your place again. Last year was a blast.

I need just a few more things done to the car and i'd love to have you take photos.

1. Angel island with the city in the back ground is always a good spot.

2. Ridge road on Mt. Tam.

3. Fort Point Building under the Golden Gate

4. Sea Cliff Ave San Fran. where all the $$$ houses are.

5. China Town late at night.

6. On Jefferson St. near the Cannery early in the A.M. (like 6 or 6:30)

7. Coit Tower also in the A.M.

uckk and the marina are about a 15 minute drive. not too far and theres a few nice spots out there. and theres PLENTY of parking for all of us.

so, is there a set date on when we're all planning to get together???
