I'm sure this is unpopular, but AJ is fugly. There, I said it. I'm suprised no one has mentioned 28 Days Later. Not the greatest movie of all time, but its low budget, shot-on-a-camcorder feel I think lends itself nicely to the Zombie genre.

AJ looks great in certain shots and angles.

what i think is that she is TOO skinny and she has that sunken bones look.

plus in M/M SMITH, her arms were like twigs.

anyways, i didnt like "28 days later." it was a little weird that the military group there broke down in such short time period.

i mean, they were like savages themselves, in a month or so? plus they gave up looking for others. they seemed to be satisfied locked up in that mansion.

plus they had olympic sprinters zombies too... GRRRRRRRRRRR

i heard there was supposed to be a sequel to that.

28DL certainly had its plot problem spots, but what Zobie movie doesn't? This genre isn't one that's ever really been known for its screenplay. I like that movie more for its camera work and originality. And for some reason I love the faster moving Zombies; it makes them more scary and less Shaun of the Dead like.

Exactly.

I don't know why everyone gets all up in arms about it.

"Oh, that movie sucked cause the zombies could run faster"

That makes it even better for me. I can outrun the old zombies. Probablky can't outrun the new ones. The important thing is, Land of the Dead is coming soon and I think it's gonna rock. If you like zombie movies, your going to go and see it and your going to love it. Why? Because it has zombies.

And Dennis Harper.

the thing i didnt like about 28 days later was the fact that the movie basically focused on the military group being the bad guys and not the zombies. i wanted all zombie action. it woulda been cool if they had gotten rid of the whole "bad guy military" part and kept the focus on crazy zombies. it was cool that the zombies could run.

I was thinking about it today, fast zombies make sense.

f you watch the DVD of DOTD 2004, somewhere on there it mentions the idea behind the fast zombie, In the begining of the movie the zombies were freshly dead with no real decay or rigamortis thus they move fine. As they decay and rigamotris sets in they would then start to slow down. The zombies int he original DOTD were straight out of the ground, so the would have been very decomposed and riga-fied.

Or maybe I'm thinking too much about zombie movies again.
