FWIW, I ordered one under that "give one, get one" deal last month. Still don't have it (not surprised), but could use the write-off for taxes.

I'll post up when I get it. If it makes a decent portable web-browser and e-mail machine I'll be happy with it

I guess you are right. It's just like the I touch. I don't see the use of it but someone will.

Im waiting for MacWorld SF. There are rumors of an ultraportable MacBook/MacBook Pro thats 50% slimmer than current Macbooks, uses Flash memory instead of a traditional HD and "something strange" about the touchpad.

Some are speculating of a giant iPhone that is a tablet computer

^^and i am sure it won't cost anything near the asus eee, thats what is so nice about the asus its 300 dollars starting. while the apple i bet would be closer to 600-900 just based on their pattern in pricing.

^^pc club is one i know of. they are right next to the old krispy kreme on santa rosa avenue.

thats the only place that i know of that carries it right now.

Yep. And they are doing a charity deal right now where you "give one and get one"....basically you buy two of them, one gets donated and one delivered to you for $425.
