I have no idea what you're talking about("project Linebacker?"), but I do like how you've somehow been able to assign some blame to Barrack Obama with the untimely death of KimJong Il into this.
Let me try as well using a presidential campaign slogan to tie a president to Kim Jong Ils death...
Well this certainly isnt the "Return to Normalcy" in North Korea that Warren G. Harding promised us now is it??
I dont know if North Korea is "Better off now than they were than four years ago?" Mr. Reagan???
Yeah, take that American presidents that could have easily controlled the natural death of a foreign dictator!

Project Linebacker is the two ships stationed in Hawaii that have the ability to stop long range ballistics anywhere from Japan to the US. Not a 100% security blanket by any means but certainly better than not having them there. It would have no affect on what may happen to SK or maybe even Japan given the form of attack (assuming the worst of course), but the skies are semi safe from the hardcore stuff.

Woaaaah, calm down there. Made a joke about the word hope, wasn't correlating the two together. Just saying hoping for something doesn't do a thing. 95% of what I say is either in jest or sarcasm, so relax.

I've spent way to much time on nazioc OT today

We should have converted NK into factory space for Japan years and years ago. After we settled that whole 1960s beef we had with them of course.

So you all know the Maya calendar doomsday theory is complete BS. The Maya's never predicted the end of the world and the only reason we see the calendar ending is because we don't see the next number. So for the Maya Dec 20st 2012 is is the last day of lets say year 9999 and Dec 21st 2012 is the first day of year 10000. Some idiots see it as 0000 because the Maya did not write 09999 so with their logic the Maya are predicting when the world ends. This would be the same if as believing the world will end the day after Dec 31st 9999 because we don't say year 09999.
