So, instead of the mini... how about a Vishnu tuned Forester XT?

Why don't you just hand the Forrester right over to the dealership, considering how many STi's Bay Area dealerships have with blown motors from Vishnu??

Turned around, went home. Checked oil... saw that I was over 3 quarts low... Added oil. The nock didnt go away. I threw a rod.

that's bull shavick man. That sucks. If they don't replace what they broke that's lame. Sue them.
Look at it this way. My room mates old ford taurus got in an accident...well my room mate in the ford, anyways. The fixed everything did something wrong with the radiator and the motor ended up seizing because of it and my room mate not paying close enough attention. They had to foot the bill to rebuild the motor.
Subaru needs to cough it up and fix your isht. Or give you the money to do it.

you can doooo it!!!!!
do it.....do it.....yeah.
Man if the XT was available when I got my wrx I may have gotten the xt instead. Things are sick.
But you will have to lower that thing to get it on the track. If they pay attention, it's too high stock for the track.
But those things look sick with sti pink springs and 18's. I like the interior pockets better and it's got mad headroom for you tall bastards with tall hair. And sunroofs man.
