Yeah, you guys are weird if you get bored with the subie... If you get bored with the subie, then you're going to get bored with EVERY car out there that isn't a high end Porsche, or an exotic. Seriously.

I love my Subies... They are so much damn fun in almost all situations. If you guys are jewing it out and not driving your car like it is supposed to be driven because you're scared of paying for tires, having stuff go wrong with your car, etc... Then of course you're going to get bored with the car!!!

Newflash: Cars are expensive, and driving them aggressively is even more expensive.

The Sti is a great daily driver since it has plenty of torque and lots of grip. The engine is also pretty cool sounding as well. However when you get it on the track, it is boring since it understeers unless you deliberately do something to unsettle it like left foot brake midcorner.

AWD cars are easy to drive to 90% of their limit and then the last 10% is scary since it involves trusting electronic aids to do what the driver should be doing. Same with Evos, but they are a little better about not pushing at the limit. They also get boring quickly.

Evo's/STi's/WRX's are great platforms to mod and they are great fun but it isn't a surprise when a person wants to get another platform that is more involving to drive. There's nothing wrong with wanting something new... at the end of the day Subies are just hunks of metal just like Porsches or Ferraris.

there are plenty of pros and cons with a subie. like yepez said, and i can imagine this being true, our cars can be boring when driven 90% of their limit. i also thought about how boring the subie can be at times, this is why i want to get another car just so i can have more fun driving (miata, 240sx, e30, etc).

but i know in the end, ill be taken the subie to the slopes. xing lao lao needs that awd!
