So I'm doing Carbon Fiber now...what should I make?
I'm just screwing around with molds, b/c I happen to have access to a near unlimited amount of aerospace grade pre-impregnated carbon Fiber (expired for NASA use but eh like I care)
So I'm thinking of doing:
a hood scoop
CF stock shift ****
Trying to do the hood someday...that's a huge a** mold to make (I have access to a mold maker that scans an object and cuts a foam core, but it can't do something as big as a hood)
Same with trunk
headlight inserts...ala koji style headlights
foglight covers
engine dressup crap
exhaust tip (lol i dunno why but I feel like it)
hm... so what else should I try to make?

cf STi trim?
the entire middle section of where the shifter goes in. (im tired don't know proper names) from the ash tray all the way to the arm rest
too tired to think more

well I wasn't really planning on selling anything, but yeah of course I can hook it up, working w/ CF actually ain't all that hard for simple objects (IE ones that are easy to mold, like a shifter)

How about a *****?
There are lots of chicks out there that could use a sturdy light-weight *****...
and just think, the weight savings would actually make a difference on the ***** whereas on a car it just makes stuff look flashy/rice

Use the carbon fiber to replace parts and actually save weight. If a weight savings was present between the stock scoop and a CF scoop it would be so negligable it'd be a waste. A CF drive shaft would be hot, or steering column like some others have recommended.
