Thumbs down So I got a text from the guy I sold my 08 STi too today...

So the 22 year old guy that bought my STi text me today.

Which was no big deal. He's been cool and texts me to let me know how he's modding it and telling me how he loves it... not that I care, but I don't mind the updates

When he bought it he said it was getting a cage with some other goodies, then racing it in a street class event...

When he test drove it, first thing I thought to myself was "Well, this thing will be popped in a few days" because of how he drove it...

So... a little over a month later in his warm up laps at the event...

I drove it like a bat out of hell, but never STUPID... Anyone who knows me can testify to that... It was my fourth Subaru and I knew how to drive the hell out of my cars while maintaining the hell out of and caring for them... He must have only known the former. When I sold it it had no smoking issues or knock... It was solid.

Oh well, he's probably getting a built motor in it now. He had a late model turbo Z when he was a senior in high school, I'm sure the money won't be an issue...

Poor STi

Late model z isn't that pricy, but they are a lot to handle. Easy to spin those turd pies.

Turbo charging a late model NA car isn't something a senior in high school can afford as a result of having their own job is the point I was making, not that he drove a Z.
