a buddy of mine had a ****ty go down

he got hurt doing something, got a setllement, and put his settlement money into his scoob. he had an 04 sti put tons of money into it. i wasnt much into the scoob scene so i couldnt tell you what it had but it had like 450whp.

biggest turbo i'd seen at the time. beautiful under bonnet. sickest sound system ive seen to this day. dynamatted. just beautiful

anyway, he was tryign to sell it cuz he was having a kid and no one was responding to his ad, he had auto trader, ebay, local newspapaer everything. still no buyers. he said he would rather not sell it than sell it to some kid.

well his baby was close to being due and he hadnt had a buyer yet, and then some 17 year old kid called and told him his dad would pay him cash. the dad paid him $500 just to drive it down to san jose just so him and his kid could look at it. and then they decided they wanted it so they paid him another 500 to drive it down again. he sold it and guess what

3 days later the kid wrapped it around a tree. kid was fine subie was totally ****ed.

he was so bummed for a while

i would never want to hear about my scoob after i sold it.

atleast he made some money on it but still very sad story. You should not be allowed to drive a car with more than 150 whp until you are 18 unless you pay for all yourself.

0-65 in my neighborhood (literally between houses, not a main road or anything) and SMASHING threw the gears, dumping the clutch...

sucks, at least the car is ok... i told the dad of the kid i sold my wrx to that it might be too much power for him, all the dad said was "but he wants it..." spoiled rich kid from pleasanton... needless to say, i got a call from their insurance 3 months later to verify that i sold them the car, there was some issue with dmv registration not being fully completed and the insurance was about to hand them a check because the kid totalled it

I had custom Mitsubishi Eclipse. After theft I decided to crush it rather than sell it. No one drives my baby
