I do here and there but not my normal place. We norm hit up N* or Homewood (small kind of the "local" place but its really nice and A LOT bigger than it looks).

Ill be passing thru Truckee today/this evening. Have a free night stay in Reno at the Atlantis

Ooohhh! How'd you get a free night's stay at Atlantis? That's pretty sweet!

I've been to Homewood once- I don't remember much about the mtn but I know I was impressed cuz I thought it was gonna suck and it didn't. I also remember the KILLER views of the lake, that was really nice! Don't ski at FlatStar unless it's free I ski at squaw sometimes, but it's expensive!
I raced at SB for 5 yrs, then worked there for 6 yrs, so I like it because I all my friends are there (always have someone to ride with) and I know the mtn really well. Like I said, I'm down to ride with you and your fiancee if you guys find yourself up there!

We did one of those timeshare speels where they try and sell u on it, but even if you dont buy u get a free trip

Ya a trip to SB would be sweet! Shes just learning, last season was her second, but she really wants to get better and better

Ya from the road u can only see like 2% of Homewood or something like that.. and yes the view of the lake is AMAZING! When u are going down the front face it seems like you're going to go right into the lake!

Ya only time i typically go to N* is when we are with the family and they pay

Squaw is DAMN expensive. Last time i went with my Dad for the furlough fridays and got a nice discount

I really hope we get some legit snowfall early and continually. I need to make up for only going a few times last season. I have a 'work' discount at pretty much all the big resorts (non weekends) and I want to take advantage of it. Northstar was $14 a day for me so let me see that SNOW!

What up guys! I live here in Truckee and there was a slight snow dusting. I got a Squaw($369)/Flatstar pass (free from work, can't argue that) Let me know if anyone wants to ride, BBQ, and party! This winter will for sure be big. Word up

A lot of the big resorts gave discounts for all state employees who got furloughed... so not only were the state employees not making money that day, they spent money to ski/board

I just got back from sonora, and it was damn cold out there. It's definitely cold enough, and all we need is rain. I saw only ice on some of the gutter tops though. Come on snow!
