I'll be heading up Sun-Tues. Weekdays=mucho ride time.

 

The Wood is open, all. They actually are opening today, tomorrow and through the week end. Then fully open (all days) after the 20th.

I just got an e-mail back from them.

I'll be up there and probably in the lot right under chair 11. White Impreza with a grey Thule space case on top. Post or PM if you want to set up a meeting time at one of the chairs.

If anyone wants to hit some runs with us, it's all gravy train.

I'll be at Kirkwood on Saterday again I think. I park in the lot out on the left side of the hill (not skiers left, other left). CGM 05 wagon. But last weekend there were ~10 WRXs in that lot hahaha.

 

I'm a newbie so I'm not knowin' all the acronyms. Back ground is in older 4x4 chevy's. What's CGM? Yeah, everyone rides WRXs up there. It's crazy how many I see. I'm not cool like that though. Couldn't afford one. I really wanted a Legacy... Happy with what I'm rollin' though.

 

this is making me crazy.....boooooooo....boooooo. freaking knee.

 

How bad is the knee dude? Mine popped while training a few weeks ago so I ride and take it easy. My MCL feels like it's burning if I turn my foot in certain directions but I swooped up one of those knee braces that has aluminum rods on the sides of the knee and it works wonders. Still gets stiff but doesn't hurt much when I ride. It's my back leg too so when I push/skate, it's kinda tough.

it's my back leg too. It was pretty bad. I had surgery on like the 27th of Sept. or something...so I can kinda walk now.

They punched like 5/6 holes in the bone around the ACL. some holes in the MCL. Cleaned out a crap load of scar tissue and cleaned up the miniscus. fun times.

I'm pushing on..>I'll see you guys come jan/feb. on the slopes.

 

CGM is crystal grey metallic. New color for 05...but it looks a hell of a lot like the platinum silver metallic hahahaha.

 

Yes it does, down to pretty low elevations too! I'm hyped.

 

dammitt... might be a little warm tomorrow so weatherchannel is reporting "rain/snow".

Hmm, this might be interesting. I'm kinda amped up for the start of the season, but I haven't gone yet.

Day trippin' for me this week end. Actually, most of the season we do day shots. Get more days in that way... financially.

I plan on being there around 8:30 in the lot right below Chair 11. Waiting to see what everyone else says about meeting for a run.
