snow! where to go?
So with my Blizzaks on the way, I'm for sure getting up to the snow a whole bunch this winter. Where's the happening place to go? I don't snowboard, so terrain parks aren't important to me. I'm mostly looking for nice long blue runs, preferably at a decent price for a lift ticket/pass.

I'd say Kirkwood has some of the best blue groomers around, after that probably Squaw, but thats silly expensive.
If you can get a way for a while I always have a good time at Big Sky, yeah its a 14 hour drive, but no lift lines and cruiser runs that go forever.
Again not real cheap, but I've been there and logged 10,000 vert before breakfast, days over 50,000 lift served are not out of the question- and the tram ride to the summit is amazing even if you aren't feeling up to skiing off the top.
The there is Whistler and Jackson Hole, Jackson is a bit more black diamond though.
I think that Solitude and The Canyons in Utah are also underrated places that can be a lot of fun too.

Squaw $69/73 adult non holiday/holiday.
Kirkwood $67/70
they are both rediculous. It is getting down right rediculous to ski anywhere. It's bull****.

you're joking right
northstar is cool and all, but its short and sweet. flat star is its nickname. you're correct in saying the backside isn't as crowded, but you can get down the run within 30 seconds. they are short trails in comparison.
