snow on highway 9!!!
snow on highway 9!!!
i was up in the santa cruz mountains tonight around 10:30 and it was snowing at the 9/35 intersection. wasnt sticking to the ground but i saw some snow residue from a few days ago still sitting there. would they have chain inspection points or just close off the roads if they got snowy?
there is a backroad that takes you to 9, go past stevens creek resivoir, the first fork in the road, go to the right, then when you get to a three way stop, turn left up a big hill. then you get to 9.
but i was up there tonight at 6, on 9 and skyline it was wet, and it is supposed to be in the 20s tonight, so look out for ice ice baby.

yep that is stevens canyon road. i go up there all the time. there is a cave i need to explore up there but it is kinda scary. u have to crawl its like 3 feet tall but you can see like 40 feet in and then it curves. two of my buddies have wrecked on that road it is pretty crazy.
