Snorkel question.

Well, a while ago, I removed my snorkel from my WRX. And recently, I had a problem was: MAF circuit low, MAF circuit high, and then Air Intake Temperature was high. Checked out the air filter and noticed there was water in the air filter unit. Dried up all the moisture. The CEL was cleared when I restarted the car..

I've never had this problem before...it's possible that all this rain we're getting and all the puddles everywhere are kickin the Subies ***...It's hard to avoid these puddles cause the roads here are jacked up and water does not drain...and it stays on the side of the road where the snorkel used to be...

So, here's the question...will this problem "go away" when the weather clears up and stop raining? or could it be something else?

TIA
Ben
