SMOG question

Anyone pass the emissions portion of the test with the stock up-pipe (with cat) and catless downpipe? Not worried about the visual, just wondering if the OEM up-pipe cat is sufficient to pass the emissions portion of the test.

I'm wondering this as well. I got the PnP manifold elbows/Hi Flow Crosspipe. But nothing too major.

I doubt you'd pass the sniffer with that since the 2 main cats are gone.

As far as dynos go, she shop I went to (a 76 gas station) didn't even have a dyno the tech did stall my car though as he pulled it up to the bay

Oh yeah, and I passed with the helix catless UP.

Update (in case any one cares):

I passed the smog check with a stock STi up pipe, Helix hi flow down pipe, stock sti midpipe, and stock saab axleback.

well even if they do a visual, the sti up pipe still looks stock. They arnt going to check part #'s or anything lol

i was mainly concerned about the downpipe which you can see is aftermarket if you look under the car. lucked out I guess
