I think kragens in japan do not even carry that much bling.

Japanese cars dont have smog equipment?? lol, thats news to me!

Well im not sure what you heard, but yes, JDM cars have all the same emmision equipment that US cars do (cats, evap, etc) and in Japan you do bi-annual emmisions testing, though a bit less strict than here in Cali(300ppm HCs vs. 150ppm HCs for example)

In any case, if you can even get the car here through Canada instead of through one of these DIY put together importers that surely costs many times more, getting it to pass smog should be the easy part

I think that is a old Greddy filter if Im not mistaken. I'll see if I can find a pic.
