Ya it was tight. I know how you all feel, the fact that is pratically impossible to get a skyline in California, and how much money you have to spend to get it here. It mega sucks, but I want one still, and always will

damn, those cars are nice!
before i got my suby, i really wanted a skyline and was looking around online for one, but once i saw how much $ they are.......it killed that dream real quick, but i'm very happy with my choice on the sti.

yeah brining in shells and motors seperate and installing them here and reg them as a kit car has been done for a while for alot of cars, the Nobles all do that.
An easier way (loophole) to get a JDM car reg in America is to just bring it in through Canada. Up there you can import and register JDM cars that are at least 15 years old. that means all R32s by now. Once they have canadian reg bringing them down here is just a matter of passing a smog test and paying registration

How do you get a car to smog, that never had smog equipment?
