Since when does Subaruparts.com sell aftermarket performance parts?

Since when does subaruparts.com sell aftermarket performance parts. I am not talking about body pieces or a trunk net. They have Turbo xs, Cobb, front mounts, turbo timers, all sorts of stuff.

My question is, does anything that subaru sells make it ok? I guess not since its not our local dealer. stuff in california is so much more strict than anywhere else. I have been wanting a front mount so bad, but scared to get flagged by a chp.

Just because you can walk into (or in this case order on the internet from) a Subaru dealer and buy aftermarket parts it's the same as buying from another shop. The parts still aren't legal per CARB (unless there is a CARB sticker) and won't be covered by factory warranty.

I didn't know they carried aftermarket stuff. Bit odd if you ask me. Though you didn't, so I'll shut up about that.

Other Subaru dealers also sell that stuff and more. All that aftermarket engine performance items are sold with the understanding or a disclaimer that they are for off-road use, only. There is no warranty unless otherwise stated by subaruparts.com or the manufacturer and engine parts are illegal in CA if they do not have a CARB Exemption Order number for your specific application (2002 WRX, 2005 STi, 2006 Legacy GT, etc.).
